This is my cozy little corner here on Vampire Rave.
I apologize if my profile lags for you. There isn't much I can do to stop it.
The user name I go by is, obviously, Prophecy. Why did I pick this user name? Simple: Prophecy means "knowledge of the future". This does not mean necessarily mean the ability to see into the future. I hold it to mean that we all most know what the future holds for us in our lives. Without a thought of what we want to do in the future, from an hour to a year, we cannot succeed.
I am a non-believer. I believe in no deity or religion. I believe in myself and my desires for the future. That desire and the ability to believe in myself are all I need in regards to Faith.
I am a forum administrator here on Vampire Rave. I am going on a little over a year as one. I will continuously do my best to keep up with the job Cancer and imagesinwords trust me to do.
Now, to get a little more personal: My real name is Dylan. I am, obviously, a guy. I am, however, a bit on the feminine side which may be why many people here have mistaken me for a girl in years past.
I am an avid reader and gamer. I love the smell of old books and getting lost in one. As for my games, I love them as well. The ability to play in another world, the ability to meet new people by doing so, is all a joy to me.
My friends are my world. Without them, I would, quite honestly, be lost. Two of my best friends joined Vampire Rave in the past and I am glad they've enjoyed it.
I am a poet. I write poetry for my own reasons and for myself alone. Not only do I love writing poetry, but I love to read it as well. Especially those written by friends.
I love music. I am a fan of various different types and love listening to more. To create a little list, some of my favorite artists are: Abney Park, The Andrews Sisters, E Nomine, E.S. Posthumus, Flobots, Elefant, VNV Nation, and many, many more.
I tend to ramble on. I am, what some may call, a dork. But it works for me.
