Please be aware that I do use all the numbers in the rating system here at Vampire Rave. My basic rating system is as follows:
You get a 10 if your profile is absolutely perfect in every way. If you're a friend that keeps in contact, or if you are in the same coven as I am.
You get a 9 if your profile seems to be not quite complete, or still a work in progress, or if you're a friend and not of the same coven.
You get an 8 if your profile takes a little while to load, or if you have too many quizzes that you take on the internet that define personality by someone one elses standards though are interesting to me they are just frill that is needless.
You get a 7 if your profile only has a few paragraphs of information about you, or that you have too many pictures that should be in the portfolio.
You get a 6 if your profile contains merely one paragraph of information about anything, especially if you use those personality questionnaire that's all they are are a bunch of questions that you have answered and decided that its enough for the body of your profile. My Coven
A Coven [or covan] is a name used to describe a gathering of witches. Due to the word's association with witches, a gathering of Wiccans, followers of the witchcraft-based neopagan religion of Wicca, is described as a coven.
The word was originally a late medieval Scots word (circa 1500) meaning a gathering of any kind, according to the Oxford English Dictionary. It derives from the Latin root word convenire meaning to come together or to gather, which also gave rise to the English word convene. The first recorded use of it being applied to witches comes much later, from 1662 in the witch-trial of Isobel Gowdie, which describes a coven of 13 members.
The word coven remained largely unused in English until 1921 when Margaret Murray promoted the idea, now much disputed, that all witches across Europe met in groups of thirteen which they called 'covens'.

What Is The Creed?
The term “Creed” is relatively modern, from its initial word in Latin: Credo–I believe. Originally, both in the East and in the West, this formula was not called Creed, but rather Symbolum: “The Symbol of Faith.”
The Creed is not the Faith itself, but the framework upon which we develop our faith. Just as the symptoms are the effects of a disease, but not the disease itself, so also the Creed is both seed and symptom of faith.
The Creed And Consciousness
A person will interpret the Creed according to the level of his consciousness.
1. “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.”
2. The mind which is oriented toward matter will interpret everything in religion materialistically. But A God/dess is a Spirit;
3 therefore religion must be of the spirit. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
4 And this must be the rule in interpreting the Creed. Only those with spiritual experience can gain even a hint of the profound meanings it contains.
Many times we hear someone say that he follows a particular philosophy because “it answers all my questions.” But true religion continually challenges its adherents to seek higher and higher insights–for themselves. Genuine religion inspires questions and rouses its adherents to become increasingly aware of the mysteries which must be unraveled before true spiritual mastery can be attained. A religion that puts our inquiries to rest and “satisfies” us is only a spiritual drug.
Key To Mystical Experience
A contemporary master of the spiritual life, Saint Silouan of Mount Athos, has explained that every proposition in the Creed corresponds to a mystical experience and the resulting spiritual state and insight attained thereby. First the saints and Fathers of any Church had mystical experiences through which they attained exalted states of spiritual consciousness. Then they formulated the principles expressed in the Creed. By our adoption of those same principles we begin working backwards from the verbal expressions toward the mystical consciousness of the Fathers, as Theseus found his way out of the labyrinth by unwinding the thread and then following it back.
