Greetings and Salutations
Welcome to the Coven of the Guardians of Darkness
From the Children of the Night of VR, we will be looking for the special ones. Those who are strong, caring, and protective in their own rights; with the ability to help those in need. Our Coven will also seek out those of the younger element to offer guidance, support, and protection to. Remember one thing though; our Coven is interested in the quality, not the quantity of its members. We will not induct people without their permission; it is not our way. We will also not induct you simply because one of us calls you a friend. Induction is a joint decision among the founders ... you have been warned.
Who are the Guardians? A Guardian is:
- A person who provides protective supervision; watching over or safeguarding
- A person who cares for other persons
- A person who guards, protects, or preserves
The Guardians of Darkness lurk in the shadows to protect and preserve the innocence. The Coven will stand for the codes of the olde ways; holding Loyality, Honor, Integrity, and Friendship above all else.
Since there are many interpretations of these words; the Guardians of Darkness shall define them as such.
Loyalty: A feeling or attitude of devoted attachment and affection. Faithfulness or devotion to a person or cause, obligations, or duties. The condition of being closely tied to another by affection or faith.
Honor & Honesty: Describing the principle uprightness of character. A code of dignity and pride; maintained in some societies by force of arms. The quality of being honest. Lies will not be tolerated without exception.
Integrity: The steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code or strength. Doing the right thing, no matter the consequences.
Friendship: To take the good and the bad with every person. To comfort when needed and to point out flaws when warranted; while always accepting the person as the individual that they are.
The founders of this coven are very close friends. We kid, tease, and fight with each other; but you will never find any that are more viciously protective of each other. True friendship begins with Honest, Integrity, and Loyalty; and hence our Coven Codes.
The Guardians of Darkness will stand to uphold each of these ideals. We will stand in defense of the castle borders and the soil of the realm we call our home, namely VR. We will choose our battle carefully, yet those battles we do fight will be fought with courage, valor, and above all things; with honor. With that said, our Coven will not cause trouble or flame any other Coven. We will not cause drama within our Coven or within any other realm of VR. We are peaceful members unless provoked. If one of ours is challenged or threatened, then all of VR will feel our power.

House and Coven Alliances
I have had to decline several invitations from several societies. Here is the reason why. OUR KIDS. The kids that we have sworn to protect in this realm called The Dark Network. I know how pedophiles work and I know some of the trust issues that they use to get the kids to go along with them. The Masters and Mistress of the Societies can tell me that my kids are safe all you want, but I am not going to put them in the situation. Think about it.
If someone approaches one of my members and makes him or her uncomfortable, even if they didn't mean too, all hell would break loose. I would approach this someone and they would deny any wrong doing and then their Master or Mistress would get involved for labeling them. ya da ya da ya da. See where I am going with this.
On the other hand, a pedophile could use, "But we are allied with you, we are all suppose to be friends, your Mistress said that we are all ok in this coven."
I see a lot of good that can come out of this, for the adult societies. I have a coven of kids. I will not call them naive, but they are still in the trusting stage and they trust me. So, this is our decision, my assistants and I. I have nothing against any of the other Houses or Covens, I am not labeling everyone a pedophile. We just have to look out for the best interest of the kids and we decided, this is for the best interest of them. Not to put them in the position where they could get hurt.
Please understand, its not personal but we take the protection of our wards, very seriously.
